Q: What can i use so the bugs leave the poor dog alone?
A: Assuming you mean fleas i would recommend the use of either the frontline plus or advantage to protect against fleas and ticks.

Dosage
Q: I have 4 cats. they very in weight between 7lbs and 11lbs. my vet recommends advantage but it seems like frontline is better. can i buy a 6pack and give them each a dose from it or does it come in weight doseages like advantage? when i looked to order it it only says kitten 8 weeks and older.

Bio spot vs. other flea meds
Q: Is bio spot a good flea med? it is so much cheaper then the others so i am not real sure about it. i have 4 dogs and we are running into a lot of fleas so i need to get something to protect them.
A: I am not a big fan of biospot as i have seen some reactions to it more commonly then other products like frontline or advantage|

Advantix or frontline plus?
Q: I'm not sure which product to go with...i have to 2 dogs that go swimming regularly during the summer, so i'm concerned about the flea and tick solution washing off. i know frontline plus is waterproof but is advantix? i do like the idea of the mosquito repellant in the advantix because we do get a good amount of mosquitos. could you let me know which product would be best for my 2 dogs. thanks.

Q: Why is there such a difference between frontline plus and bio spot because of the chart other then waterproof there seems to be no difference. are these products what you would get at your vet or over the counter at walmart? thank you.
A: The active ingredients are different and that is why the frontline plus is waterproof. these are the same products that you would get at your vet, i don't know what walmart carries.

Q: I would like to keep the cost of meds down. if i use sentinel do i need to have a flee med such as frontline or can i get by with the one?
A: If you use sentinel you do not need to use frontline.
